Reggie and Atiya are ENGAGED!
So, I will always have a special place in my heart for this couple. Aside from my very first clients -English and Timmy - this couple were the first clients to contact me without having a prior history, ie we haven't been friends for a while and she isn't a local wife who happened across my page. They were recommended to come to me by a prior client and I have never been more thankful for a recommendation! Not only are these some of the most gorgeous pictures I have ever taken, but I was able to meet such a wonderful couple and was able (I hope!) to add to their story.
Reggie contacted me via phone and told me that his fiance was going to be in town a short while and asked if I would be available to do their engagement photos. I of course jumped at the chance - quite literally, I doubt he knew that I was literally dancing on the other end of the line while trying to keep my voice calm and business like. :) Anyways, after emailing back and fourth after that initial phone call we had decided on Golden Gate Park in DT SF. I was so thrilled, a new location! :)
When we arrived I was a little anxious about the looming clouds and cold weather. But aside from the chill in the air the lighting was perfect, no bright sun glare and dingy shadows to deal with. :) What stood out most about this shoot to me though, was the actual couple. They have a history similar to my own with my husband and so when I asked them to kiss or do something ooy gooy and romantic they happily obliged- as any freshly engaged couple would! :)
Okay, enough rambling. I introduce to you, the sweetest couple I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!
Aren't they just beautiful people? I think that Atiya is one of the most photogenic women I have ever met.
Thanks again ya'll for the love and support and Congratulations to Atiya and Reggie once again on their engagement!
Love and Blessings,
Tiffany

Liz and Wade
I've known Liz and Wade since before our boys were born, and let me tell you... we had SO much fun on this shoot. They were fun and energetic, romantic and, might I say, sexy! I really don't have a whole lot to say about the shoot other than it has been one of my very favorites so far. I think you'll see what I mean when I say "sexy" as you look at them. They were quick to take advantage of the kid free atmosphere and weren't shy about showing how much love and passion they have for one another which, in my humble, opinion translated beautifully into their photos!
Sexy right? Do me a favor and make sure you keep the passion alive in your marriages just like these two. First, don't forget to keep dating! Maybe this week you can go out buy something special and new, make an extra effort to show your spouse how much you love them by fixing them their favorite dinner or asking a friend to watch the kids so you can have some quality couple time. And, if any of this translates into "Hey, we need to do some pictures" I think I know a girl who can help you out! ;)
Thanks again y'all.

** A special thank you to Liz and Wade for being so patient with this post and their photos. Thanks guys for being so understanding about the computer problems we encountered last week, thus delaying this post an entire week. Y'all are awesome!

Meet Emily and Evelyn
Emily and I have many mutual friends and even more things in common, especially parenting techniques and goals, so I was delighted to get her email asking if I could capture some special mother daughter moments between her and sweet Evelyn. I had so much fun not only meeting this woman (who really is a girl after my own heart, we're so alike!) but getting to play with a sweet baby again! I also had my love for the small town of Dixon reignited as I drove to her home and was reminded why I fell in love with it in the first place. It's a small sleepy town surrounded by farmers growing all sorts of crops; we were quick to take advantage of the sunflower fields! :)
It was lovely meeting you Emily and Evelyn, thank you for sharing your morning with me! :)
Blessings,
Tiffany
